    Hi Susie

It depends how big the leaves are you use. Consider the fact that you may lose a few tea leaves when preparing your mug for reading, so you need enough in there to form plenty of patterns. I would probably recommend two teaspoons to be safe but it does depend on the size. You can also drink the tea quickly if you don’t want it too strong.

When you drink the tea, the leaves should have settled to the bottom. When you get to the end of the mug/cup you can purse your lips a little so you don’t drink the leaves!

    Hope this helps. x

Thanks so much for the link to those videos Monique. The link works if you copy and paste. I will watch them this week.

Yes, we women do need to stand together now and unite. This is one of the many reasons for starting this circle. I hope it provides a sacred space we can let go and be our true selves, heal, progress, be empowered, and create some beautiful bonds…

And yes, you can let those words go that you inherited from your mother. Sometimes they live deep within our subconscious and unknowingly they affect how we react to, and show up, in life. This is why I’m so excited to be training as a hypnotherapist.

Thanks for sharing all of this Monique. x

Thanks for sharing this Monique. I love the use of the word “eclairs” instead!

Yes, pain really brings us into the body and the present moment doesn’t it? When we are in pain our bodies use up a lot of energy for healing and therefore not much is left for anything else. I hope you heal up quickly.

You don’t have to have all your eclairs functioning! In fact there are likely to be some you hardly use at all, if ever. So please don’t feel you need to be able to do them all.

And yes, play and fun is key. 😀

Thanks for posting that video Frankie. A few things I loved about it…

    1.  The work we do on ourselves ripples out. I believe the work we do on ourselves also connects us back to our ancestors and helps heal their wounds too (as well as rippling out to the present and future). We are all connected, eternally.

    2. I used to have an altar in my home. For many years I created an altar, changing it to reflect what I wanted/felt called to honour, and to also support what I was going through at the time. Who is interested in discussing how to create an altar at home? Is this something you would like me to do a Q&A session on?

    3.  We are becoming ancestors. I love this! It is our responsibility to heal our wounds and live with full authenticity, so we can leave behind our wisdom for others to build upon. In this time of crumbling patriarchy to show up differently as empowered women – embodying our feminine power (which we will be moving on to discuss what this looks like soon!) – so we can be part of a transformation into a more balanced and healthy society.

    Hi Shirley

I’m so sorry you had that experience in the previous course you took. I hope this course helps you to let go of the stress around it and thereby trust in your abilities again. You did so incredibly well in our first class too! Please let me know if there’s anything I can help you with as we progress through the course.

I’m so happy you’ve joined us Shirley.

    Big smiles and giggles

    Sally

How magical is it that this course starts on Tiffany’s birthday and ends on Monique’s birthday!

Anyone else have a birthday mid-way through?!!!
