Hi lovely ladies
How are you all doing? I’m wondering how your Empowered Action Steps are going?
I’ve stepped up my social life which feels really good. I’m taking empowered action to make sure a new friend and I spend time together which is lovely. Our friendship is growing beautifully. I visited my sister at the weekend and made a point of organising a meal on Saturday evening with friends of theirs who I’ve met a few times and really like – we had a lovely evening. Plus I met a friend for lunch on Sunday before heading home. It felt so good, on every level, to create beautiful social times. Plus I have a second date with someone tomorrow night!

Sally, sounds like you’re thriving 😊. It’s good to hear.
Unfortunately since last week I became even more unwell than I was the week before. It took a while for a GP to see me in person, but finally in the last couple of days I am beginning to feel better.
So my ‘what if …’ thoughts were pushed aside a bit other than ‘what if I felt well?’ As a result of this recent experience, I started to think more about the importance of self-care and what I can do to be well and healthy.-

So sorry to hear how unwell you’ve been but glad to hear you’re feeling better now.
I think “what if I felt well?” is a lovely empowering question when you’re not doing so good. Well done for that and for the awareness of self care too. Great progress!
Also, just showing up here every week is an empowered action too Ruth. You’re doing really well 🙂
I hope this coming week you will feel much better.

My focus of “knowing what to want” took me to practicing QiGong daily last week. I must admit it was good to have this forum for accountability as there were a few days I did not want to practice, but I recalled I wrote down wanting to do this for a week.
As for now, thanks to a mini reading from Sally, I want to just be and allow and surrender rather than “do something” for my quest. What if I allow things to be just as they are, for they are perfect exactly as they show up.
Ruth – I’m happy to read your posts about using the what if questions. Bummer your health took a turn, but it sounds like the “what if I felt well” helps.
Sally – your exit from your cave and socializing sounds fabulous. It lines up with the changing season as Spring is just around the corner and can already be felt in the air.
Looking forward to seeing all of you next week.
